These Official Rules ("Rules") apply to the Pheasants Forever 2012 Life Member Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") conducted by Pheasants Forever, Inc., 1783 Buerkle Circle, St. Paul, MN 55110 ("Sponsor"). By entering, you agree to be bound by these Rules. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. SEE ENTRY SECTION FOR DETAILS.

  1. PRIZE. One (1) SCAG model SFZ Freedom Z zero-turn riding mower (36" or 48" or 52" or 61"). Final deck size/SFZ model to be chosen by the winner. Maximum MSRP of $7,138. Other prizes may be added to the sweepstakes.
  2. DRAWING/ODDS OF WINNING. Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The drawing will be held on or about February 20th, 2012. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received.
  3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD. Sweepstakes begins January 1, 2012 at 12:00 a.m. CST and ends December 31, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. CST ("Sweepstakes Period").
  4. ENTRY. There are two (2) methods to enter the Sweepstakes: (1) Become a Pheasants Forever Life Member during the Sweepstakes period. During the Sweepstakes Period, individuals that complete the Life Membership form and return it with payment to Pheasants Forever, 1783 Buerkle Circle, St. Paul, MN 55110 will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. (2) Alternate Method of Participation: You are NOT required to complete the Pheasants Forever Life Membership enrollment form in order to participate in the Sweepstakes or win the prize. To enter without completing the Pheasants Forever Life Membership enrollment form, complete the Sweepstakes Entry Form. All entry forms returned via US Postal Service must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2012 and received at the Sponsor's headquarters no later than January 7, 2013. Once submitted, all entry materials become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor and its subsidiaries, agents, affiliates are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, misplaced, garbled, damaged or unintelligible, illegible entries or postage due mail. Any person who attempts to participate under multiple identities or uses any artifice or device to accumulate entries will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found tampering with the Sweepstakes. LIMIT OF ONE ENTRY PER PERSON UNDER ANY AND ALL ENTRY METHODS.
  5. ELIGIBILITY. Sweepstakes is open only to individuals that reside in and who are physically located in the United States (excluding its territories and possessions, New York, Rhode Island and Florida) and are eighteen (18) years of age or older. The following categories of persons are not eligible to enter or win: employees of Quail Forever, Pheasants Forever, Inc. or SCAG Power Equipment, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, sales representatives, and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household (whether related or not) as such individuals. Void where prohibited by law.
  6. MISCELLANEOUS. Winner will be notified by US Mail, and will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within fourteen (14) days of notification. Sponsor may select an alternate winner if winner fails respond within timeframe specified or if winner fails to meet all eligibility requirements set forth herein. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Quail Forever and Pheasants Forever, Inc., their respective parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, and the officers, directors, agents and employees of any of the above entities from any and all liability, loss or damage to person (including death), property or reputation incurred in connection with their participation in the Sweepstakes and/or the receipt, acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize or their participation in any prize related activity. SCAG Power Equipment, its parent, subsidiaries and affiliates (Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc.) are not sponsors of this promotion. By participating, entrants agrees to release and hold harmless Metalcraft against any and all claims, damages, losses, expenses and liability arising out of participation in this promotion, or acceptance/use of any prize. By accepting prize, winner agrees to the Sponsor's use of his/her name and address (city & state), photograph, videotape or likeness for advertising, trade or publicity purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to the winner relating to the Sweepstakes or Sponsor, and grants to Sponsor any and all rights to said use, in any media throughout the world, in perpetuity without further compensation, review, approval or notice, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its discretion. Winner will be responsible for paying all fees and taxes (including sales and income taxes), resulting from winning the prize, and will be responsible for providing necessary personal information to the Sponsor to accomplish such requirements. Sponsor may terminate the Sweepstakes or any portion thereof or decide to modify it in any manner, which it deems fair and equitable to participants if it becomes aware of any occurrence, which would materially affect the security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes.
